Women's Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a non-governmental Human Rights organization dedicated to protecting and promoting Human Rights. Founded in 1991, WOREC focuses on preventing violence against women, addressing its causes and effects, and advocating for ecological justice through the economic, social, environmental, and cultural well-being of women and other marginalized groups. We envision a society where feminist aspirations are met, where everyone is equal, and social justice exists. Our working districts with offices are spread across Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Dang, Kailali, and Rukum, with additional working districts in Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Kanchanpur, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok, and Saptari. The Central Office is located in Lalitpur.
