ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer responsible for the development, maintenance and improvement of our Cloud and Kubernetes Infrastructure . Your primary focus will be to automate and implement devOps tools and methodologies to our existing stack. 

You will be working alongside other experienced engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Design and develop new systems with an emphasis on minimized maintenance requirements, as well as maintain and enhance existing systems
• Systems analysis design and debugging of new systems
• Work with outstanding teams to improve tools, processes, and the software they support
• Managing development, testing, and production servers and container infrastructure
• Do ad-hoc service capacity planning and maintenance
• Managing capacity, designing systems architecture and performing technology refreshes
• Participate in production readiness reviews and provide feedback to engineering teams on best practices
• Automate error-prone tasks to drive safety and determinism throughout complex distributed systems
• Debug mission-critical problems in production
• Provide architecture and scaling guidance where necessary for all engineering teams

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED AT THIS ROLE

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in DevOps role
• Experience with AWS Cloud provider
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiar with any CI/CD tools
• Familiar with any of the high level programming languages like: Python, Golang, Node.js etc.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Nice to have:

1. Experience with databases (like Postgres, MySQL)
2. AWS or any CNCF certifications
3. Experience with Service mesh
