We seek to expand the availability, quality and sustainability of abortion and related reproductive health services, as well as improve the enabling environment for the services.

Ipas Nepal’s program intervention prioritize intersectional partnerships that integrates into the broader gender equality and social justice, including gender-based violence prevention and response, and women-led climate justice. 

Position: Consultant to develop business development guideline

Number of positions required: 1 (one)

Duration: Estimated LoE of 20 working days

Location: Kathmandu

Objective of Assignment:

The objective of consultant is to develop detailed business plan and guideline for Ipas Nepal to facilitate and standardize regular business planning, implementation, and M&E process.

Detailed duties and responsibilities for the assignment:

  • Review and situational analysis of current donor landscape and program development scenario of Nepal.
  • Organize workshops/meetings with Ipas staff, relevant partners, and government as and when needed. 
  • Draft the business development guideline with clear steps,modality, mechanism, formats.
  • Gather feedback on the document from Ipas Nepal and Ipas US Program Development team.
  • Finalize the business development plan & guideline and submit to Ipas Nepal. 

Deliverables for assignment:

  • Develop inception report based on the internal meetings, desk research and contextual analysis. 
  • A draft of the step-by-stepbusiness development plan and guideline. 
  • Final business development guideline and share with Ipas Nepal team.  

Qualification and skill requirements:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Sociology, Development Studies or in relevant academic background with minimum of 10 years of practical work experiencein business plan and guideline development.
  • Should have sound written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali language 
  • Experience in conceptualizing, developing, drafting and delivering technically sound business plan and guidelines particularly for I/NGOs
