ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR MIDTERM REVIEW & NEW NORMAL MAPPING (NNM) STUDY IN SF WORKING AREAS IN NEPAL 2021

SF Nepal has been implemented its Strategic Plan (SP) programme in Nepal for the period of 5 years (2019-2023) called Socio-economic empowerment with dignity and sustainability (SEEDS) programme.

Objectives:

We are planning to do an extended mid-term review of the programme by an individual experts or a firm with experts on the project evaluation and to understand the clear new normal situation and to adapt/ adjust the programme/ interventions and turn innovative ideas into effective, efficient, and sustainable action, to counter the immediate effects and long-term outcomes of the Covid-19 crisis by carrying out New Normal Mapping (NNM) study. We therefore would like to solicit (a) Technical Proposal, and (b) Financial Proposal from the interested and qualified persons or registered firms in Nepal for the mid-term evaluation and New Normal Mapping.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of producing high-quality, credible evaluations (examples required)considering the OECD “DAC” criteria
  • Relevant educational qualifications (at least Masers’ degree)
  • Professional expertise and experience in M&E of the development projects in Nepal
  • Professional experiences in SROI approach and calculations
  • Professional experiences in managing the CAPI and digital survey
  • Development expertise and experience
  • Relevant quantitative and qualitative research skills
  • Sound knowledge of and commitment to rights-based approaches
  • Demonstrable experience with participatory methodologies
  • Proven evaluation skills such as sampling, participatory evaluation methodology, appreciative enquiry methods, focus group interviews, etc.
  • Sensitive to gender, environmental sustainability, and inclusion 
  • Proven team leader and report writing skills
  • A history of performing similar evaluation/s 
  • Excellent writing and verbal communications skills in English and local languages
