Consultancy Service for Developing and transmitting Interactive Voice Response (IVR) messaging

World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal), with support World Vision US, and partnership with district- based NGOs, is implementing a project-Community Social Behaviour Change for the Improved reading Outcomes a goal ‘Build evidence on strengthening caregiver and community behaviors to support and sustain reading practices in early grades. The project is anchored in the Unlock Literacy project model that includes early grade literacy, responsive caregiving, holistic development of children, health and nutrition, early simulation of the most vulnerable children.  

The intervention of the project includes the development of social and behavior change prototypes to better support children’s reading practices at home and in the community; monitor, refine and evaluate the prototype and develop and dissemination of the social and behavior change Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) case study. For this purpose, WVI Nepal aims to roll out the prototype of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) messaging to parents and caregivers to broadcast measurable audio messages for supporting reading practices at home and in the community.

This consultancy service is expected to deliver the following component:

Developing and transmitting Interactive Voice Response (IVR) messaging

• Develop, design, produce and broadcast IVR messages on parental engagement (behaviour change) for the improved reading outcomes of children based on real-life examples gathered through the research.
• Broadcast/disseminate three weekly messages for each intended recipient for the period of 90 days where the total number of the targeted audiences are 200
• Provide easy to access system to promptly access the number of listeners of the messages broadcasted through IVR messaging services and quickly fix any technical issues related to broadcasting IVR messages 
• Provide weekly report on the effectiveness of IVR messaging with key metrices like successful delivery of IVR messages, number of listeners, average message listening time, and other critical information to ensure the effectiveness of the communication platform 
• The organization/company or consultant shall submit financial proposal based on the scope of work.
