International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a non-governmental organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.
For the following position, INF Nepal, Central Office Pokhara is seeking competent, skilled, service-oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions, and values.
1. Position: Communication Officer

Location: Central Office, Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating the mission and impact of INF Nepal to a broad audience. This role involves planning, editing, and producing a variety of content for internal and external communications. The Communications Officer will ensure that all organizational initiatives and projects are effectively communicated to staff and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in communication or journalism or advocacy and media relations, marketing or any related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing communication strategies, media, advertising, copywriting or journalism. Master’s degree in Marketing or any other communication related field is an advantage.
- Experience in building media contacts, editorial, persuasive writing and copywriting is an advantage.
- Must have knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, Google analytics, email marketing, social media marketing), graphic design, photography and videography.
- Ability to write creatively, engagingly and accurately in both English and Nepali for a range of audiences, including the ability to translate, transcribe, edit and proofread others writing for accuracy and effectiveness.
- Excellent command of both English and Nepali Language, both written and spoken.
- Advanced knowledge of computer skills (MS office, Adobe Professional Package: Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Auditions)
- Skilled in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of written, audio-visual and web-based communication pieces.
- Willing to travel to remote areas of Nepal for documentation through photography, video and content write-ups.
- Ability to handle last-minute changes and work efficiently under time constraints.
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision, serves as a key resource for teammates and colleagues when issues arise.
- High degree of integrity, discretion and personal conduct. Self-motivated with good judgment and initiative.
- Demonstrates INF Nepal’s Values in work and interactions with others.
