Job Description

The Child Welfare Officer is responsible for safeguarding the well-being of children in care by providing emotional, educational, and physical support. This role involves direct engagement with children, coordination with professionals, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment that promotes each child’s development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage individualized care plans
• Build trust and provide emotional support
• Ensure compliance with child protection policies
• Coordinate with schools, healthcare providers, and social workers
• Organize educational and developmental activities
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and reports
• Support family reunification or alternative care planning
