Support Nepal (SNP) is a not-for-profit, non-government organization working strategically to restore imbalances and inequalities being faced by minority and marginalised groups since 1996. Development of training, networking, models of effective development practice, research and influencing policy has been the focus of SNP’s strategic works. The increasing focus of SNP has been on developing processes that promote the inclusion of the minority and marginalised groups in the social and public decision-making.

Call for Maintaining the Roster of Experts

SNP invites experienced and qualified Nepali professionals to join a roster of thematic experts which will be used to seek expert services. The request for expertise refers to the following technical areas:

• Capacity building and development
• Gender equality and social inclusion
• Human rights-based approach to community empowerment
• Inclusive governance
• Media advocacy
• Non-violent communication and action
• Peace building and conflict transformation
• Policy research 
• Political economy analysis 
• Program monitoring and evaluation
• Public finance management
• Social and behaviour change communication

The thematic expert, in the given subject, will provide technical guidance and support in designing, delivering and reporting the short and long-term assignment per the need. Successful candidates will be included in the roster of experts and SNP will seek their expert service as needed if the skill, experience, qualification and availability match the consultancy opportunities.

Only the selected candidates will be included in the roster and contacted as needed. The inclusion in the roster of technical experts does not necessarily constitute any formal commitment or obligation of service.
