Call for Expression of Interest (EoI)

Ujyalo Foundation is pleased to invite Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced individuals to contribute as a Research Consultant for the SheLeads Project.

The SheLeads project directly aligns with Ujyalo Foundation’s core objective of increasing the participation of girls, women, and nonbinary individuals in leadership and decision-making spaces by equipping them with skills, knowledge, and platforms to lead transformational change. This project builds on Ujyalo Foundation’s ongoing work in feminist leadership, intergenerational empowerment, and community-rooted action, particularly for individuals from communities that have been historically marginalized in the Madhesh Province.

The research consultant will play a crucial role in identifying and mapping the present gender-responsive and youth-friendly policies in the designated province and municipalities. They will also look at the legal and institutional barriers for young people and present possible intervention points. Furthermore, the consultant will be responsible for executing the research process outlined in the Terms of Reference (ToR) attached to this announcement.

How to Apply:

Interested candidates should submit the following:

1. A cover letter detailing relevant experience and motivation for applying.
2. An updated CV with specific examples of relevant work.
3. A brief proposal on how you would approach the mapping of possible research studies, including tools, resources, and methodology.
4. A quotation for the deliverables mentioned in the TOR.
