International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services.
INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.
For the following position, INF Nepal Mugu Office is seeking competent, skilled, service oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who shares our vision, mission, and values.
Position: Assistant Project Officer
Required Number: 1
Location: Soru Rural Municipality, Mugu
Purpose of the Job:
The job holder is responsible for implementing and monitoring of livelihood and economic empowerment activities of the project. S/he will ensure proper implementation of approach in line with organizational direction in order to empower target groups to see positive impacts in the communities. S/he needs to coordinate with Community Development Facilitators and the project Group Facilitators to ensure their technical excellency on livelihood, income generation and increase capacity of community to become resilient.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Intermediate degree in Agriculture (I Sc AG or JTA).
- At least two years of hands-on experience in livelihood, disaster risk reduction, and community development projects.
- Proficient in using participatory tools and techniques.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Willing to work in remote parts of Nepal.
- Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
