Job Description: Bela Nepal Industries Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of prefabricated houses in Nepal, is seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hetauda Industrial District produces EPS cement sandwich panels (Bela Eco-panel), EPS colored PPGL sandwich panels, doors and windows, and steel fabrication and engineering works. We are dedicated to pioneering the industrialization of prefabricated houses in Nepal and around the world.

Position: Architect
Location: Kathmandu and Hetauda Industrial Estate

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop architectural plans and drawings for prefabricated modular houses and related products.

• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.

• Create innovative and sustainable designs that align with our company’s vision for modern housing solutions.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and construction standards.

• Develop detailed construction documents, specifications, and material selections.

• Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and incorporate feedback into design revisions.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in architecture and prefabricated housing.

• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate design concepts and progress to stakeholders.

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, including showcasing designs at industry events and trade shows.

• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture. A Master's degree or professional certification is a plus.

• Proven experience as an Architect, preferably within the prefabricated housing or construction materials industry.

• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing prefabricated modular houses and related products.

• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and other relevant tools.

• Excellent understanding of building materials, construction methods, and sustainability principles.

• Strong creative and analytical skills, with an ability to develop innovative and practical design solutions.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas to clients and stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
