AMDA Nepal is seeking consultancy service to conduct an Endline Survey for its Project for Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Camp to collect data, insights, and feedback from communities to assess the project’s performance against the set indicators. The endline study will include a data collection survey for indicators outlined in the Terms of Reference (ToR). The endline study report will inform the project outcome level, and output level progress, providing the comparison of current data with baseline data collected at the beginning of the project. The data collected through the endline survey will allow for transparent communication of project results and will serve as evidence for reporting to project stakeholders, funders, and partners.

Scope of Work

The endline study will focus on key institutions that were involved in the project, including government and non-government organizations, health facilities of Gokarneshwar Municipality working on Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening. As part of the fieldwork aspect of the consultancy, the Consultant will be required to travel to the project coverage site of Gokarneshwar Municipality. The consultant's work is anticipated to span 30 days, which will be spread out over November to December 2023.

In collaboration with AMDA-Nepal, PBCCSC Project, the consultant will lead the survey from the planning the survey, implementation, monitoring and supervision and report writing.    

  • Develop the detail plan of survey
  • Develop the data collection tools in coordination with AMDA Nepal
  • Deployment of enumerators and provide orientation.
  • Frequent field visit, supportive supervision and guidance in data collection to enumerators.  
  • Data editing and appropriate storage
  • Oversee data collection and ensure data quality
  • Data analysis, interpretation and report writing

Based on the program implementation and the objectives mentioned above, the project is seeking for the qualified organization or individual to conduct the end line survey in the target areas.

Period of assignment/services: 30 working days from November - December 2023

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master degree in public health along with relevant experience in survey and research
  • Experience in working for non-governmental organizations, UN agencies or government institutions
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
