Job Title: Admin Intern
About the organization
Center for Research and Sustainable Development Nepal (CREASION) is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 2005. Since it was founded, CREASION has been a leader in environmental protection in Nepal through recycling, research, emergency response, grassroots and circular economy related interventions. CREASION also houses innovative, impact-based projects as well as a learning center for youth. CREASION’s work is majorly centered around four thematic areas; Environment and Sustainability, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Youth and Volunteerism.
Position Overview: As an Admin Intern, you will support the day-to-day administrative operations of the office. Under the supervision of senior staff, you will help keep the office running smoothly, including clerical work, correspondence, logistics, office maintenance, and general support tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in office administration, build organizational and communication skills, and learn the internal workings of an organization’s admin/operations functions.
Key Responsibilities
As an Admin Intern, you will:
1. Administrative Support
- Assist with day-to-day office operations, including maintaining records, documentation, and filing systems.
- Support the team in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes during discussions.
- Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls in a professional manner.
2. Data Management
- Organize, input, and analyze data related to ongoing projects and operations.
- Ensure proper handling of confidential and sensitive information.
3. Logistics Coordination
- Assist in managing office supplies and maintaining inventory records.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, training sessions, and other events.
4. Program Support
- Work closely with other teams to provide administrative assistance for ongoing projects.
- Support in creating reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for admin-related matters.
- Build relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers as necessary.
What We Are Looking For
Educational Background: Undergraduate students or recent graduates in Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
