HPF is a Danish NGO that has been working in Nepal since 2017 and Kenya since 2018. HPF aims to improve the quality of education, health, and livelihood of the rural people of Nepal and other parts of the world.  

HPF adopts a unique approach to develop children's potentials and create a better future for them. With our 'child-empowerment model' that puts the child at the centre of our intervention, HPF focuses to develop not only the academic skills but also social, emotional, cultural and interpersonal skills so that every child develops it’s potentials to pursue his/her career to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.

HPP is looking for following different positions to work in its Clusters, Project Office or in the Country office.   

1.  Position: Education/Cluster Officer - 3, Location: One of the Rural Municipalities of Taplejung district.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent with English as a major subject along with 3 years’ experience in education field related to SMC, PTA strengthening, teaching-learning pedagogy and promoting overall learning of the school children. 

Job Scope:  The job holder is responsible to work in a team under the leadership of Education Manager, and to manage a educational project focused to improve students enrollment, learning achievement and to decrease drop out in one of the Rural municipalities of Taplejung District. Capacity building efforts aimed at strengthening School Management Committee, teachers, parents, and students are key approaches adopted by the project.

Contract Period: Initially until Dec. 2024 with high possibility of extension.

2.  Life Skills Officer: 1, Location: HPF Project Office, Taplejung district.

Qualification & Experience: Bachelor degree in social science or any discipline with sound knowledge and experience in the areas of training delivery focusing on students soft/life skills. Persons experienced in RUPANTARAN package are highly encouraged to apply. 

Job scope: The job holder is responsible to work with Life Skills Coordinator who is the in charge of HPF Life Skills Program. As a part of Students Life skills development, HPF has developed different training modules focusing on students' cognitive, emotional, physical, social, relationship, thinking and citizenship skills needs. The person is required to work with Life Skills Coordinator assisting him/her in required areas.

3.  Public Health Officer/Assistant: 1, Location: HPF Project Office, Taplejung district.

Qualification & experience: Bachelors/Intermediate degree in public health with 2 years’ experience in relevant field good knowledge of Diabetes, NCD’s prevention and management

Job scope: Over the period of past 2 years, HPF provided training to Health workers and Female Community Health Volunteers in Diabetes and Non-Communicable Diseases Prevention focusing on the behavioral changes of the parents. Therefore, the main purpose of this position is to monitor these health workers and volunteers for the implementation of learnings as they had and document the changes brought by the program at the community level.

Contract Period: Until Sept. 2023

All candidates applying in the positions should have good knowledge and skills of computer (Word, Excel, Power Point, email), English, typing in English and Nepali. Candidates need to maintain high level of work ethics and confidentiality with positive attitude. 

4.  Office Assistant: 1, Location: HPF Country Office, Kathmandu.

Job scope: This position is assistant to the Head of Finance to carry out his/her job function for the timely accomplishment of all administrative and financial functions in the HPF Nepal Country Office. The major task includes handling petty cash, logistics, inventory and asset management, handling banking and tax matters.

Qualification: Intermediate (Plus 2) in Management or equivalent with one year's experience in similar roles.
