Rural Oriented Youth Movement-Nepal (ROYM-Nepal) is a national non-profit making non-governmental national level organization established in 2009 which envisions a socio-economically empowered society with equality and social justice through its community based collective campaign to create an environment where marginalized groups can raise their voices for economic, cultural and social rights challenging the structural discrimination. It aims at reducing poverty through skill transformation and youth engagement. ROYM-Nepal supports the country in achieving the long-term Sustainable Development Goals on human rights, health, education, gender equality, water, sanitation, environment, social protection, justice and impact of climate change. In more than a decade of its working experience, ROYM-Nepal has been successfully carrying out different community-based interventions, climate justice and disaster management, socio-economic programs under WASH, skill promotion, self and gainful-employment, women health, and socio-economic empowerment in 18 districts of Nepal. ROYM-Nepal is currently looking for the application from qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Position: MEAL and Grant Management Coordinator

Based in: Kathmandu

Position Description

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning and Grant Management Coordinator (MEAL and Grant Management Coordinator) will work to develop and implement MEAL framework and plan of the organization for the projects and oversee field level MEAL activities. She/He will work closely with the central and district teams of organization to implement routine data collection through ROYM Nepal’s Database Management System, its continuous analysis, dissemination of the findings and development of knowledge products based on the learning and best practices. She/He will be involved in the operationalization of the project’s MEAL system and will ensure high quality data are captured throughout the life cycle of the project, campaign and movement, as well as for proposal design and development. The incumbent will work under direct supervision from Senior Program Coordinator under the strategic oversight of Executive Director, and with support from all the District Program Officers/Coordinators, Program Coordinators, Sr. Admin & Finance Officer and Communication Officer. The position will lead and guide support in data collection, analysis, and track activities implementation, achievements and good practices to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to end of all programs and projects, both new and established within the organization and its outreach. The position will help to improve the capacity of relevant staff members and support the program team in monitoring activities and in making evidence-based adjustments to the programs.

अनुभव:

• समुदाय स्तरमा कम्तिमा २ वर्ष युवा, पछाडी पारीएका समुदाय तथा महिलाको क्षेत्रमा काम गरेको अनुभव भएको । 
• अधिकारमुखि दृष्टिकोणबाट काम गर्न सक्ने तथा सम्बन्धित जान भएको । 
• कम्प्युटर सम्बन्धित आधारभुत तालिम लिएको, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint र  Excelमा राम्रो ज्ञान भएको । 
• सञ्चार सीप भएको तथा समुदाय स्तरमा प्रभावकारी तवरले सचेतना कार्यक्रम संचालन गर्न सक्ने ।
