Recently RIMS-Nepal is implementing Restoring Food & Nutrition Security and Building Resilient Livelihood in Earthquake Affected Area (PRRO) & Food Security Enhancement and Agriculture Resilience of the Earthquake- Affected Rural Nepalese Farmers (FOSTER) in Dhading District. In order implement the programme, RIMS-Nepal is looking for the experienced and qualified candidates for the following positions with given requirements.

Position: Sub-engineer

Number of Position: 2

Location: Dhading (For PRRO Project)

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• Diploma in civil/sanitary Engineering with 2 years experience or sub overseer with 5 years experience in rural gravity water supply/construction            

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the construction the gravity water supply scheme, school  construction, Irrigation canals
• Support of plumbing work and construction work

Position: Livestock Technician

Number of Position: 1

Location: Dhading (For FOSTER Program)

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• Intermediate in Livestock or JT with 2 years experience or 5 years experience after completion of JTA Course            

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Group formation and train farmers to grow high value cash crops and goats
• Technical support to farmers groups for goat farming shed management & vegetable production
• Linkage and coordination with DLSO &DADO staff in field level for leverage resources

Position: Community Facilitator

Number of Position: 2

Location: 1-Baireni / 1-Kiranchowk, Dhading (For FOSTER Program)

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• Minimum S.L.C. with 3 years experience            

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support to group information
• Support other staff to implement the program
• Closely with field level stakeholders
