KIRDARC Nepal is an NGO dedicated to Human Rights, Peace Building, Media and Development in Karnali Zone since 1999. It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

KIRDARC Nepal is an NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance with especial focus on building capacities of right holders, duty bearers and civil society contributing to inclusive growth and fair development. It works with a vision of a just and prosperous society with people having access to and ownership over resources and opportunities.

It has been implementing SAMBHAV programme in Kalikot and Mugu districts focusing the activities in Secondary School Girls in Partnership with Restless Development and UNICEF for the period of 30 months. Thus, KIRDARC invites applications from suitable Nepali candidates for the following full time position:

Project Officer (based in district office Kalikot and Mugu) - 2

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: directly responsible to implement the programme in the district, facilitate the teacher training, coordinate with relevant stakeholders for girls education; monitor/support young champions, in girls empowerment process,  district financial management, capacity building support to young champion, networking and coordination at district, document project learning, case study, learning outcomes, perform as a role model report to District Coordinator and Senior Project Officer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in education, having at least 2-3 years working experiences on education, teaching learning process, girl’s empowerment, capacity building of teachers and coordination and collaboration with school community.
