Yangri Academic Center was established in 2074 as a non-profit making school to educate school-aged children who were deprived of basic education rights as there was no school close to their village, to the nearby places of Panchpokhari Thangpal RM Ward No.2. It has been financially supported by Himalayan Life Foundation Nepal in different aspects of its development. Currently, it is being operated from grade LKG to 9, and upgrading to providing education opportunities to 233 students (residentially 176- and 57-day scholars).  

1. Secondary Level Math Teacher (Opt. Math)
2. English Teacher for Lower Secondary Level
3. Art/Dance/Music (all levels)
4. School Nurse

Job Specification

• Education Level: At least a Bachelor's Degree for Secondary Level Teachers and 10+2 or PCL level for all other posts.
• Experience Required: 2 years of teaching experience in related subjects or fields.

Other Specification

• All posts are in residential setup.
• Fluency in oral and written Nepali and English 
• Good command of computer skills (MS Office package)
• Strong communication skills with students and parents

Job Description

1. Secondary level Teachers (Classes 6-10)

• Academic planning, organizing, and managing the classroom effectively.
• Assisting the leadership to develop and maintain the overall academic standard of the school.
• Assisting the school in ECA as per the requirement of the school. 
• Correspondence with guardians, teachers, and students.

2. Grade Teacher UKG

• Child-friendly teacher, who can lead in all subjects of their level.
• Information and knowledge of Early Childhood Development.
• Two years of experience in primary-level teaching and grade teaching.
• Good lesson planning and documentation skills.
• 2 years of classroom experience.

3. Art /Dance/ Music Teacher

• Can provide basic skills of art according to their levels.
• Can provide basic skills in music and dance.
• Can support in teaching the musical instrument playing skill.
• Can take a lead role in preparing students for different programs of school and outside school.
