Details / requirements:

Oxfam’s Nepal Earthquake Response

 

 We are urgently looking for dynamic team players in the following positions for our response programme. The contract is initially for 6 months (extendable) with competitive salary & benefit package. 

 Public Heath Engineers

You will be carrying out assessments, starting up implementation of a public health response and provide public health engineering support to the programme. You will bring knowledge of public health engineering with good understanding of environmental sanitation and community water supply. Experience and understanding of community mobilisation in relation to water and sanitation activities

 Public Health Promoters

You will be designing, implementing and monitoring the health promotion component of the programme. You will bring knowledge of public health/health promotion. Experience and understanding of community mobilisation in relation to water and sanitation activities

 All candidates need to be physical fitness for travel and living in affected districts, ability to live in a very basic living condition. You will have strong organization skills, ability to work effectively in a difficult environment and be flexible in demanding situations. You will be proficiency in English and good interpersonal and team working skills. Your commitment to the values of Oxfam including gender equity in all that we do
