KIRDARC Nepal is implementing the “Integrated Protection and Community Engagement” and “Integrated Nutrition and Livelihoods” Program at Jumla district in partnership with World Vision International Nepal. Therefore, KIRDARC Nepal is expecting the job applications from suitable qualified, dynamic, and motivated candidates to fulfill the vacant position of Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Officer based at Jumla district.

Position Description: Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Officer, 1 Person (Based at district headquarter of Jumla)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Seeking candidates with a Bachelors in agriculture, economics, social work, sociology, or related field, coupled with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in In-depth knowledge on Women’s economic empowerment approaches, within a rural setting, preferably in a developmental organization.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Candidates must have proven experience in implementing Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) or livelihood projects, including vocational skill training, engagement with financial service providers, and business plan development. They should possess strong knowledge of local-level advocacy, policy development, WEE, GEDSI, and community-led initiatives, with the ability to work effectively with government agencies, NGOs, private sector, and community-based organizations.

Applicants should have strong training, facilitation, and report writing skills, along with experience in budget forecasting, expense tracking, and financial review. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to conduct capacity and training needs assessments while providing mentoring and on-site technical support, are essential.
