Integrated Rural Development Society (IRDS), Mahottari, is a non-political and non-profit NGO established in 1994 by a group of Terai marginalized groups. Since then, IRDS is fully dedicated to working in humanitarian assistance, community development, livelihood, child well-being, and environmental protection, mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the humanitarian and long-term development projects.
In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, IRDS Mahottari is initiating work on “HATEMALO for Child Wellbeing and Integrated Development Project” in two Rural municipalities, Ekdara and Samsi Rural Municipality. IRDS Mahottari is seeking qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions.

1 | Program Manager-1 | A bachelor's degree with 5 years or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in project management is preferred in Public Health, Social Sciences, or Development Studies, policy advocacy, and local resource mobilization. And project finance knowledge. | A program manager oversees multiple related projects to achieve broad organizational goals, focusing on strategy, budget management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication across a portfolio of initiatives. Key responsibilities include setting program strategies, allocating resources, monitoring performance, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring the program's overall success and alignment with the company's strategic vision. |
2 | Market Coordinator- 1 | Bachelor’s degree in economics, Agribusiness, or a relevant discipline | Strong knowledge of market linkages, value chains, and livelihood promotion; ability to support women and families in income generation; 3 years of experience in coordinating producer groups and cooperatives. |
3 | Green Growth Officer- 1 | Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management or relevant discipline | 2 years of experience, knowledge of climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy, and eco-friendly practices; skills in promoting green livelihoods; ability to integrate environmental sustainability in child health and nutrition programs. |
4 | NCG Officer- 1 | Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or public health | Strong expertise in maternal, infant, and young child feeding (MIYCF); skills in growth monitoring and counseling; 2 years of experience in developing nutrition education materials; ability to support caregivers and communities. |
5 | Protection Officer- 1 | Bachelor’s degree in social work, Law, Child Rights, or relevant discipline | 2 years of experience, knowledge of child protection policies, safeguarding, and GBV prevention; skills in case management and referral mechanisms; ability to work with vulnerable children and families; strong advocacy and coordination skills. |
6 | Psychosocial Counselling Officer- 1 | Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work | 2 years of practical experience in psychosocial support, trauma healing, and mental health counseling; ability to work with children and caregivers; strong facilitation and confidential case-handling skills. |
7 | Women's Economic Empowerment Officer - 1 | Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Economics, or Development Studies | 2 years of experience working in women’s rights, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy; skills in mobilizing women’s groups and promoting income-generating activities; ability to integrate empowerment with child well-being outcomes. |
8 | Community Mobilizers IPF-9 | Intermediate (+2) degree | Skills in community engagement, group facilitation, and awareness campaigns; 3 years of experience in multi-dimensional projects, especially on health, nutrition, Livelihood, and protection activities; Ability to work directly with parents, caregivers, and local leaders. |
