Deaf Association of Kailali (DAOK)
Deaf Association of Kailali (DAOK) is a non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian organization registered with the District Administration Office, Kailali (Reg. No. 1736/069) and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu. Established through the leadership and initiative of deaf youth in 2012, DAOK works to promote social justice by strengthening persons with hearing and other disabled people and ensuring their educational, economic and social rights through a rights-based approach focused on empowerment, capacity building and advocacy.
Deaf Association of Kailali (DAOK), in partnership with National Federation of Deaf Nepal (NDFN) and with support from the Atlas Alliance, is now implementing a 4-year (2026-2029) program dubbed “Collective Action for Disability Rights (CADiR)”. The CADIR Program aims to improve the ability of persons with disabilities and their families in 2 municipalities (Dhangadhi and Godawari) of Kailali district to achieve inclusion in all areas of society through greater participation in decision making processes and greater access to services across different sectors. The main focus of the Program is health and rehabilitation and human rights advocacy for/with people with deaf blind, psychosocial and persons with multiple disabilities. We are looking for a self-driven, dynamic and result-oriented candidate for our vacant position for the following positions:
1. Finance Officer

Job Description
- Finance Officer Work in close coordination with the Program Manager on improving overall financial system of organization.
- Manage E-TDS of staffs, resource persons and related parties.
- Book and monitor financial transaction on accounting system and reconcile the bank and account in monthly basis.
- Develop necessary document on procurement and other financial transaction.
- Work to implement and make necessary amendment in the financial policy of organization.
- Liaison with board, Program manager and doner parties on preparing budget and financial planning.
- Provide Logistic management support to the organization.
- Ensure the reports are on time and are in line with the Partners reporting criteria.
- Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to audit queries.
2. Home - Based Facilitator/ Educators

Job Description
- Be able to work hands on with the children and should be able to plan proper Individual Education Plan (IEP) and activities as per the need of the child.
- The candidate should be able to develop rapport with the family members of the children.
- Work closely with the project team on various events, awareness campaigns, conduct trainings and workshops.
- The candidate should be able to conduct/be part of team conducting functional assessments of special needs of the children (preferably deaf blindness, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Intellectual disabilities)
- Be able to produce written reports on child’s progress.
- The candidate should be able to modify classroom/home set-up, and help children participate in educational activities.
3. Physiotherapist

1. Service Planning & Delivery
- Provide physiotherapy services in home-based and resource class settings
- Develop individualized physiotherapy plans aligned with Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support early intervention and rehabilitation needs of children
2. Technical Support & Capacity Building
- Train home-based educators, resource teachers, and caregivers on basic physiotherapy techniques
- Develop simple manuals/guidelines for home-based physiotherapy support
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and supervision
3. Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with project teams, educators, and senior physiotherapist
- Coordinate with service providers for treatment and assistive devices
- Support integration of physiotherapy into education and care plans
4. Monitoring & Documentation
- Maintain records of physiotherapy sessions and progress
