People Promote Center (PPC)

People Promote Center (PPC), Dhanusha is a nonprofit, non-governmental, and non-political humanitarian and development organization based in Madhesh Province. It is registered in Dhanusha and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, Nepal. The organization works across several core thematic areas, including Education, WASH, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Health, Governance and Advocacy, and Gender Equality. Its primary target groups include children, girls, adolescents, women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized communities. PPC collaborates with development partners (I/NGOs), the private sector, and local governments. 

In partnership with UNICEF Nepal, PPC is currently implementing the Community Engagement and Social Mobilization for Modeling Social & Behavior Change and Climate Action Project in Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality of Rautahat District. The project aims to strengthen climate resilience through inclusive community engagement and behavior change strategies. As part of this initiative, PPC will conduct child-centered risk assessments using the Children’s Climate Risk Index – Disaster Risk Model (CCRI-DRM). To carry out this work, the organization seeks to engage qualified consultants as outlined below.

Interested candidates/firms/companies are requested to submit all required documents as mentioned above to the PPC Head Office, Janakpur 1 Sitachowk, during office hours, or via email at ppc2063@gmail.com no later than 27 November 2025. Proposals must be submitted in separate technical and financial sealed envelopes/folders.

Administrative and Financial Management

• The consultant will be contracted by PPC 
• The consultant shall be responsible for maintaining accurate records of workdays, deliverables, and field activities
• Payments will be made upon submission and approval of deliverables as per the agreed schedule
• Any applicable taxes will be deducted at source in accordance with prevailing government regulations
• The consultant is expected to work independently while maintaining close communication with PPC and UNICEF Nepal throughout the assignment period

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. The selection process may also include a skills assessment or other relevant evaluations.
