Beta Tech is a tech-based company in Kathmandu offering services in Information Technology, Business Process Outsourcing and Digital Marketing. Its Ed-Tech : LMS division is committed to delivering high quality digital learning content for students preparing for IELTS and PTE. We are expanding our team and looking for dynamic, student -oriented and creative individual to support our learners and enhance our outreach; proactive and experienced individual to lead and manage smooth functioning of the EdTech/LMS division.

1. Position: Marketing and Sales Officer

Level: Entry to Mid-level

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: Negotiable (based on experience and skills)

Reporting to: Co-Ordinator (Ed-Tech Division)

Position Summary

This role is a dual-focused position requiring active engagement in student support and marketing functions. The candidate will assist in onboarding students, handle their queries and support them throughout their learning journey. Simultaneously, the candidate will be involved in outreach, tele-calling, social media marketing and promotional content creation to attract new learners and maintain strong business relations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Support Functions:

  • Welcome and onboard new students into the LMS platform.
  • Provide timely and accurate information on IELTS/PTE programs and services.
  • Handle student inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media.
  • Track student engagement, gather feedback, and support course-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.

2. Marketing and Outreach Functions:

  • Make outbound calls to potential leads and follow up on inquiries.
  • Conduct role-plays and feature in promotional videos and reels for social media.
  • Assist in creating and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and grow social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Organize webinars, live sessions and info sessions with the marketing team.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with potential partners, education agents, and affiliate networks.

3. Administrative and Coordination Support:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (tech, academic, creative) for smooth delivery of services.
  • Maintain daily reports on leads, calls, student onboarding, and feedback.
  • Assist in content updates and quality control within the LMS.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, Communications or related fields (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer support, marketing or education-related role.
  • Prior experience in ed-tech or test-preparation & education consultancy industry is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both English and Nepali).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace and basic CRM tools.
  • Basic video presentation skills and comfort in front of a camera.
  • Social media handling experience (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Positive, student-first attitude with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.

2. Position: Coordinator – Ed-Tech (LMS Division)

Level: Mid-level

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: Negotiable (based on experience and skills)

Reporting to: Executive Director

Position Summary

The Coordinator – Ed-Tech will be the operational lead of the LMS division, responsible for managing the end-to-end functioning of the platform. This includes coordination between tech developers and academic content experts, scheduling and conducting teaching-learning activities, managing promotional campaigns, ensuring timely completion of tasks and reporting on performance and impact. The role requires both strategic planning and hands-on management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate with the tech development team to manage LMS features, upgrades and maintenance.
  • Report system bugs and ensure timely resolution with developers.
  • Oversee content uploading, formatting and platform integration.

2. Academic & Content Coordination

  • Liaise with IELTS/PTE content experts, instructors and curriculum developers.
  • Monitor quality of video content, quizzes, modules and mock tests.
  • Ensure regular updates and alignment of content with current test formats.

3. Teaching & Learning Activities

  • Plan, schedule and moderate live teaching sessions and webinars.
  • Maintain academic calendars, student progress reports and performance metrics.
  • Ensure proper functioning of discussion forums, doubt-clearing sessions and peer learning activities.

4. Promotion & Marketing

  • Develop strategies to promote the LMS.
  • Support in social media campaigns, outreach events and partnership activities.
  • Coordinate with the sales and student support teams for lead conversion and service delivery.

5. Operational Oversight

  • Manage timelines, milestones and deliverables for all LMS-related activities.
  • Maintain documentation, reports and division dashboards.
  • Handle internal meetings, task allocations and performance reviews.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Collect feedback from students, teachers and partners to enhance product and experience.
  • Monitor analytics and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Explore new technologies or tools for better learning outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Management or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in project coordination, ed-tech, LMS management or education technology.
  • Experience in IELTS/PTE education or digital product coordination is a strong plus.

Skills:

  • Strong project and team coordination skills.
  • Working knowledge of technology / LMS platforms
  • Excellent communication in English and Nepali.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, task management tools and reporting.
