This organization works throughout Darchula district and covers programs like Early Grade Reading, TROSA, SUAAHARA and Integrated Community Development Project. Our donors include WFP, WEI, OXFAM, HKI, and GNI Nepal.

CRDS Nepal is a non-government, not for profit, social development organization established in 1992 at Darchula District. Since 1992, we have sought to improve the quality of life of families with a special emphasis on women, children and the poor -residing in villages of the rural areas. We recognize the need for an integrated approach to development and consequently, our activities are diverse. With the passage of time, CRDS-Nepal has been able to expand itself into one of the fastest growing NGOs and together with its diversified development programmes covering different geographical area and population of Nepal. Therefore, CRDS Nepal is seeking job applications from potential candidates for the differentpost for the implementation of Trans Boundary Rivers of South Asia (TRoSA) Project in partnership with OXFAM in Nepal to increase accesses and control over the riverine resources of transboundary Mahakali basin communities in Darchula district. 

1. Project Coordinator-1

Key competencies and qualifications:

  • Nepali Citizen;
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Rural Development, Development Studies, Water resources management, Social work preferably Master’s degree in relevant subjects 
  • Fluent in English & Nepali languages written and spoken;
  • Having 3-year relevant experience in the project management, implementation and project administration;
  • Familiar with windows-based word, power point, excel, publishing etc;
  • Familiar with busy working (multi tasking environment), handling with pressure of works and meet the deadlines; and
  • Good in communication with people from diverse communities and countries

2. Program / MEAL Officer-1

Key competencies and qualifications:

  • Nepali Citizen;
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Rural Development, Development Studies, Water resources management, Social work preferably Master’s degree in relevant subjects 
  • Fluent in English & Nepali languages written and spoken;
  • Having 3 year relevant experience in the project monitoring and documentation MEAL
  • Familiar with windows based word, power point, excel, publishing etc;
  • Familiar with busy working environment, handling with pressure of works and meet the deadlines; and
  • Good in communication with people from diverse communities and countries
  • Good Knowledge in database 

3. Admin and Finance Officer-1

Key competencies and qualifications:

  • Nepali Citizen;
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration(BBA), Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies(BBS), with Accounting, Organization or HR Management;
  • Fluent in English & Nepali languages written and spoken;
  • Familiar with windows-basedword, power point, publishing and advance knowledge excel, etc;
  • Having 3 year relevant experience in the field of Accounts and Office Administration;
  • Familiar with windows based accounting packages and knowledge of FAMS operating system.
  • Familiar with busy working environment, handling with pressure of works and meet the deadlines; and
  • Good in communication with people from diverse community and place.
  • Finance Officer will be responsible for making payments in cash and bank to all vendors, suppliers, consultants.
  • Experience to keep track of all financial records, both in relation to petty cash and other regular expenses;
  • Able to make accounting entries in the computerized package.
  • Able to handle TAX clearance and other compliances with Government and other concerned departments;
  • Reconciliation of staff advances and making necessary entries.
  • Excellent capacity to administer employee files and other files and records in order to ensure accurate payment of benefits and allowances - review personnel records: [Staff contracts, leave reports, training, time sheet, travelling documents]
  • To provide appropriate support on procurements, maintain the Assets and Inventory list and supervise the inventory of store items & ensuring regular verification;
  • To prepare financial statements, financial reports, for the project in allocated time frame. 

DURATION: The probation period will be for 10  months, with the option to extend based on the satisfactory performance.
