Social Awareness & Development Association (SADA), Nepal is a civil society organization, started with a motto of "working together for resilient and just society", and derived from socio-economic progressive movement.
The organization is registered with the District Administration Office, Baitadi in August 1996. It was formed by a group of volunteers involved in various segments of professions and walks of life. SADA has adopted organizational & cultural values (viz. justice, peace, harmony and equity) while implementing programs & providing services to marginalized people. Founded on the basis of egalitarian ideology, it pertains to alleviate human suffering, assist during crisis & act for holistic development of vulnerable people.
In partnership with FCA, SADA Nepal is going to implement "Empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs through Sustainable Income (EWESI) project" in two rural municipalities of Baitadi (Surnaya and Sigas Rural Municipality) district. SADA Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions.
1. Position: Finance & Admin Officer (Both Male & Female)
Required Number: 1 (One)
Duty Station: Central/field office- as per project need
Position status: Finance & Admin Officer
Qualification and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management with at least 3 year experiences or Intermediate degree in accounting with at least 7 year experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning and analysis of project, demonstrated experience in the use of MS office package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.) & Internet, experience working in a computerized accounting environment like FAMAS. Ability to lead financial management of the project/program and link this with the overall financial management of the organization.
- Knowledge of functional, effective & efficient accounting & financial system and timely preparation and submission of reports to donor closely with project team.
- Strong facilitation and good communicator of the messages to be delivered.

Job description/ Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with and in the guidance of project coordinator in supporting planning and implementing of project activities at the district and field level.
- Prepare vouchers; ensure proper budget coding, cheque writing and submission for approval
- Timely payments of vendor’s bills and settlement of advance, liabilities and receivables etc. and reconcile periodically.
- Responsible for annual remuneration tax assessment, monthly payroll, retirement fund and TDS management.
- Ensure the financial management system is in accordance with organization and Donor’s, Accounting Standards.
- Data entry into the accounting software or manually and generating reports as required.
- Produce/compile a financial report as required.
- Manage all bank transactions and petty cash
- Preparation for internal, external and project audits.
- Prepare annual procurement plan in consultation with program team
- Perform market assessment, sourcing, contracts, supply, and delivery as required.
- Track demand, supply and distribution of necessary goods and materials.
- Record keeping and documentation as per the compliance
- Database management and periodic reporting
2. Position: Social Mobilizer/Technician (Female only)
Required Number: 3 (three)
Duty Station: Surnaya and Sigas RM of Baitadi District (Project implemented area)
Position status: Social Mobilizer/Technician
Qualification and Experience Required
- At least Technical SLC (JTA- Agriculture) with minimum 5 years or three years diploma with 2 years of working experience or Enterprise Development Facilitator (EDFLevel-2) with minimum 3 years of working experiences in livelihood improvement activities in remote areas.
- Previous experience in agriculture, marketing, entrepreneurship development, community and cooperative mobilization and integrated farming with climate smart agricultural practices will be value addition.
- Strong facilitation and good communicator of the messages to be delivered.
- Skills on coordination with the community level stakeholders and motivation to work closely with the most vulnerable households.
- Open and believes in team work.
Job description/ Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with and in the guidance of project coordinator in supporting planning and implementing of integrated on and off farm activities at the community level.
- Involve in forming different women groups and selection of beneficiaries for various trainingsand extension activities.
- Support for the selection of target households and support them for immediate and long term income of households.
- Assists in carrying out needs assessments on training, input support and other activities.
- Assists for social mobilization, advocacy, and empowerment of women groups.
- Maintain database and records on field level project activities and accomplishments and report to project coordinator.
- Support to manage timely supply of inputs with improved technologies and skill to women's group.
- Assist for timely preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual report with target budget and timeframe of field level activities.
- Coordinate with the community level and related stakeholders.
- Ensure cross cutting issues such as gender and inclusion mainstreamed throughout the project cycle.
- To coordinate and communicate with Ward, Palikas, local cooperatives and women's group as per project requirement.
- To manage the local level meeting, group discussion, orientation for the activities as per the project objective in coordination with supervisor.
- Displays cultural, gender, child, religious, ethnicity and age sensitivity and adaptability.
