BASE Organization (Backward Society Education) is a leading NGO officially registered in 1991 in Dang with DAO and SWC. BASE has been working in the field of WASH, Education, livelihood support, child labor elimination, women empowerment, income generation, conflict mitigation and peace promotion, environmental sustainability, disaster preparedness and response, infrastructure support and protection and promotion of traditional indigenous culture as well as increasingly working with beneficiaries from other marginalized communities.

BASE is going to implement ‘WASH for Gender and Adolescent Inclusive School in Nepal (WASH GAINS) Project’ in 30 schools of 4 municipalities (Geruwa Rural Municipality, Madhuvan Municipality, Thakurbaba Municipality and Bardiya Municipality) in Bardiya district with the financial and technical support from Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) / UK Aid Match (UKAM) and WaterAid Nepal. BASE intends to recruit qualified and experienced Nepalese citizens for the following positions:

1. Post: Education Field Officer- (1 Position, based in Bardiya Office, 80% field visit)

Qualification and Experiences Requirement: At least bachelor degree in Arts, Management, Education and Social Science with at least 5 years of overall experience working with NGO with at least managing one complete WASH in school project or Master degree in relevant subject with at least 2 year overall experience in NGO and managing one complete WASH in school project.

2. Post: Training and Advocacy Officer (TAO)- (1 Position, based in Bardiya Office,80% field visit)

Qualification and Experiences Requirement: At least Bachelor’s in Arts, Management, Education and Social Science from reputed university with overall 5 years experiences in project management, planning, designing, implementation, monitoring evaluation, data analysis and experience of delivery of training and policy advocacy and lobby related to WASH and Master degree in required job related subject at least 2 years experiences in implementing school WASH project.

3. Post: Procurement and Logistic Officer (PO)- (1 Position, based in Bardiya Office,80% field visit)

Qualification and Experiences Requirement: At least Bachelor’s in Management and accounting from reputed university with overall 5 years experiences in project management, budget planning, procurement management, inventory system and administration and Master Degree in required job related subject at least 2 years experiences in procurement system with goods track record of inventory management and periodic reporting.
