Mallarani Rural Development Concern Center (MRDCC) working for the social transformation of the community, is a civil society organization based on general membership. As the first non-governmental organization established in Pyuthan district; this organization promotes the self-sustaining life of citizens through empowerment of the target group and service work, taking good governance, gender equality and social inclusion, advocacy and local capacity development as key issues in the implementation of plans to achieve its set goals. In order to achieve the objectives of the organization, this organization has been coordinating and cooperating with various government and non-government agencies, development partner organizations, local level and other stakeholders.

With USAID support and under the partnership of CARE Nepal led consortium partners Association of Youth Organization Nepal (AYON), Jhphiego, Howard Delafield International (HDI) and Nepal CRS company, this organization is implementing USAID Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) project in Jhimruk RM, Naubahini RM, Gaumukhi RM, Pyuthan and Sworgadwari Municipalities of Pyuthan district addressing the challenges seen in the field of adolescent sexual and reproductive health. USAID ARH is an adolescent co-led initiative to empower girls and boys, 10 to 19 years including the most marginalized, to attain their reproductive health rights. The goal of the program is to support adolescent to reach their full potential by; ensuring they receive correct and appropriate reproductive health information and guidance to decision making skills, creating an environment conductive in making healthy reproductive health decision and facilitating translation of this decision into healthy behaviors.

To implement the project, MRDCC announces the vacancies for the following positions.

Vacancy Notice No. 02/079/80

Position: ARH Coordinator / District Lead              Required Number: 1

Duty Station: Central Office, Khalanga Pyuthan with estimated 60% travel to project implementing communities and Health facilities

Qualification: Master’s degree in Public Health or Nursing with 2 years of relevant work experience in similar field.

Or, Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Nursing with 5 years of relevant work experience in similar field; FP/RH and adolescent and youth programming, behavior change communication and quality improvement and quality assurance.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Have knowledge of local language and socio-cultural practices
  • Team work, team management skills and team building'
  • Report writing
  • Basic computer skills; MS word, Excel and Power point
  • Training and facilitation skills

Position: ARH and GESI Officer                   Required Number: 2

Qualification: Bachelor degree in public health/ Nursing / Women & Gender studies/ Sociology with two years of working experiences in GESI, FP/RH and adolescent programming.

Vacancy Notice No. 03/079/80

Position: M&E and Documentation Officer              Required Number: 1

Duty Station: Central Office, Khalanga Pyuthan with estimated 70% travel to project implementing communities and Health facilities.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field such as public health, knowledge management, demography, development studies, research, social science and analysis or equivalent. At least 3years’ relevant experience in MEL database management role in health projects with demonstrated experience in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis work.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in uploading data into project database, MIS tools, processes and ability to organize large amount of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Solid experience in uploading in data analysis and preparing periodic progress reports
  • Knowledge of remote data collection tools and approaches (MIS, Kobo Toolbox, ODK, google form, Microsoft form)
  • Strong command of MS Excel; knowledge and experience of using statistical tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to deal with multiple tasks; establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in Nepali and English language in both written and verbal communication.

Qualification: CMA/ANM with 3 years of working experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Have a good facilitation and communication skills.

Position: Finance and Admin Officer             Required Number: 1

Duty Station: Central Office, Khalanga Pyuthan with estimated 40% travel to project implementing communities and Health facilities.

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business administration, business studies and other relevant field with at least 3 years of practical experience in financial reporting, budget planning and forecasting, inventory and assets management, financial monitoring, audit, and accounting system of non-government and development organizations.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of existing accounting practices and rules, understanding of the fiscal system of the country, in particular related to the activities of I/NGOs.
  • Strong knowledge and practical skills on different forms and formats, use in financial transaction and procurement system.
  • Strong accounting software skills including Microsoft Office programs
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, resource allocation, facilitation and organizational skills.
  • Proven experiences in working with diverse communities, cultures and ability to cope the stresses and decision making with appropriate communication
  • Strong knowledge on audit, review and verification techniques
  • Preferences will be given having work experience in USAID funded projects

Position: Admin Associate                  Required Number: 1

Duty Station: Central Office, Khalanga Pyuthan.

Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) in management with at least 2 years of working experience in the administration and finance department in non-government and development organizations.

Preference will be given to Bachelor’s Degree in management with working experience in the relevant field.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and practical skills on administrative and logistics functions.
  • Knowledge on Tax and VAT requirements and accounting system
  • Strong knowledge and practical skills on different forms and formats; use in financial transaction and procurement system
  • Must possess a valid two wheeler driving license
