Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.

In partnership with Islamic Relief Nepal, RDC Nepalis implementing Rautahat Socio-Economic Recovery project in two southern municipalities of Rautahat district. RDC Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on the following positions for successful implementation of the project.

1.

Project Coordinator (1- Nos.)

B.ScAgriculture or relevant discipline

  • At least 3 years of working experience in field of socio-economic and agriculture development (Master’s degree holders) or at least 5 years of working experience (bachelor’s degree holders)in similar position.
  • Experience in developing detail implementation plan, implementation guideline, HR mobilization, financial management, capacity building of team, develop training manual, conduct training, workshops, and community mobilization interventions.
  • Experience of working with district level stakeholders on socio-economic development.
  • Demonstrated ability of leadership and able to manage large team.
  • Strong computer literacy and knowledge of database and spreadsheet
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, negotiation and communication skill
  • Fluency in Nepali and English communication, presentation skill (both written and verbal) and report writing. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadline.
  • Sensitive and responsive to gender and social inclusion.
  • Good analytical skills and innovative

Senior Program Officer- DRR-WASH  (1-Nos.)

Bachelor in Degree in environment, or relevant discipline

  • At least 4 years of working experience in NGOs in the DRR and WASH project intervention.
  • Ability to develop training plan and guideline, conduct sectoral trainings, workshop and events at Palika and district level. 
  • Proficient in report writing and good communication skills desired. 
  • A good interpersonal relationship with beneficiaries and all the team members.
  • Understanding of local government structure and able to coordinate with key stakeholders and mobilize as per project requirement. 
  • Problem solving, active learning, persuading and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in written and verbal communication in in English and Nepali and local language (Bajika/Maithili preferred). 
  • Knowledge and experience using MS-Office packages email and internet.
  • Two-wheelers with driving license.

MEAL Officer (1- Nos.)

Bachelor’s degree in social science or relevant discipline

  • At least 3 years of working experience in NGOs in similar position.
  • Good understanding of research methodologies including data collection, qualitative and quantitative data management and interpret.
  • Excellent at content writing, good written and oral communications skills including presentation and reporting skills.
  • Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online data management tools. 
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Develop tools to collect the information against indicator.
  • Demonstrate collaboration & team building skills,
  • Confidence to represent in district, government and other like-minded organization,

Community Mobiliser (4- Nos.)

JTA and Intermediate or relevant discipline

  • Understanding of poverty issues, disaster, WASH in the local context.
  • Strong understanding of community dynamics with skills to communicate and build rapport with poor families and community.
  • Strong coordination skills with local level stakeholders (farmer groups, ward office, municipality, cooperatives and various community groups) 
  • Basic Knowledge on agricultural market and market system and business development
  • Basic knowledge on financial service provider’s cooperatives, MFIs, saving groups,
  • Skills on planning and capacity building of producer’s groups 
  • Good Community Mobilization and Facilitation skills.
  • Local candidates are preferred having contextual information and able to work in community level.

Senior Admin Finance Officer (1- Nos.)

Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or any relevant discipline.

  • Master’s in Accounting/Finance with 3 years of work experience and a Bachelor with 5 years of work experience in NGO environment and in basic HR function/administration/financial management is mandatory. 
  • General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Good command of English & Nepali languages (written & spoken)
  • Practical knowledge of project budgeting, accounting & reporting
  • Able to articulate and communicate ideas well verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of tax and compliance
  • Demonstrated Mentoring, Orientation & Training Skill
  • Good interpersonal, problem-solving & time management skills
  • Willingness to work under pressure with tight deadlines and to travel across the project areas.

Admin & Logistic Assistant (1-Nos.)

Intermediate in Management

  • Intermediate in management having 2 years of work experience in NGO environment and basic knowledge of procurement process and administration. 
  • Good knowledge in stock management, Purchasing Requisition, delivery of goods. 
  • Practical knowledge of office management including finance and admin tasks.
  • Competency in using Microsoft office package, email and internet,
  • Fluency in English and Nepali (verbal and written)
