SF Nepal has been implemented its Strategic Plan (SP) programme in Nepal for the period of 5 years (2019-2023) called Socio-economic empowerment with dignity and sustainability (SEEDS) programme.
Objectives:
The main objective of this consultancy service is to deliver a 4 days (residential) training to capacitate selected partner’s staffs in delivering training on promoting anti-corruption and good governance at community/ field level. The purpose of ToT is to develop skilled trainers to conduct training and facilitate application of the good governance and anticorruption process, approach, tools and techniques. Specifically, the training is intended to;
Scope of work:
Broaden the understanding of the partner staffs on the complexities of corruption, its root causes, and impact on society. In addition, knowledge and skills to develop a sustainable policy for the promotion of integrity will be enhanced;
- Identify instruments for increasing transparency and accountability at local level;
- Develop better understanding of the national framework of anti-corruption policies, protocols and best practices;
- Able to empower members of youth network to publicly speak out against corruption, and to work in conjunction with NGOs and local trainers to develop local initiatives and engage in on-the-ground efforts to fight corruption
Tasks to be accomplished
The Consultant shall deliver and submit the following services to the SF Nepal:
- Prepare a technical and financial proposal for the trainings based on agreed ToR
- Develop and prepare the training Curriculum and session plan
- At the end of the training each participant develops an action plan to roll out their knowledge and skills to fight against corruption at different level within their organization and to youth networks
- Prepare and deliver the comprehensive training report including all reading materials within 7 days of training completion in both hard copy and e-copy
Required qualifications and experience
The consultant as an individual engaged to conduct this service should have the following qualifications and competencies;
Experience and competencies
- Relevant educational qualifications
- Relevant participatory training facilitation and delivery skills
- Professional expertise and experience in the area of Good governance and anti-corruption
- Development expertise and experience with rules, regulation and policy of Nepal Government
- Sound knowledge of, and commitment to, rights-based approaches
- Knowledge of participatory methodologies
- English, Nepali and local language proficiency
- A history of performing similar training management and facilitation
