Working for Access and Creation Nepal (WAC Nepal), established in 2054 B.S., has been actively implementing community development programs in collaboration with various partners. WAC Nepal is committed to effective resource utilization, transparency, accountability, and social responsibility.

As per Article 2054 (Fourth Amendment 2074) of the organization's constitution, WAC Nepal practices the appointment of an independent and legally recognized auditor each fiscal year. In line with this, the WAC Nepal invites sealed proposals from eligible and qualified audit firms to conduct an external audit for the fiscal year 2081/82. Interested firms are requested to submit their EOI along with the required documents mentioned below within (18 July 2025) 15 days from the date of this publication.

Terms and Conditions:

1.    The audit will cover all projects and programs implemented by WAC Nepal during the fiscal year and must be conducted in accordance with prevailing accounting standards, government regulations, and donor requirements. The selected auditor shall:

• Review income, expenditures, assets, and liabilities.
• Verify compliance with tax laws and internal policies.
• Evaluate internal control systems and make recommendations.
• Visit central and project offices (Mangalsen and Binayak).
• Submit an independent audit report and a management letter.

2.    Eligibility Criteria: Interested audit firms must:

• Be legally registered in Nepal and affiliated with ICAN.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in auditing development organizations.
• Demonstrate strong team qualifications and audit methodology.
• Be free from any conflict of interest with WAC Nepal.

3.    Proposal Evaluation: The selection will follow a Quality Cost Based Selection method, with:

• 60% weightage for technical proposal
• 40% weightage for financial proposal

4.    Audit fee structure must be clearly presented in either lump sum, percentage, or fixed amount, specifying whether food and travel costs are included or excluded, under the following financial categories:

• NPR. 10 to 15 cores 

5.    Submission Deadline: All proposals must be submitted a sealed envelope or via email procurement@wac.org.np  by 18 July 2025 (within 15 days from the notice date) to the following address:

• Firm registration certificate
• PAN/VAT certificate
• Latest tax clearance
• ICAN affiliation certificate
• Technical and financial proposals must be submitted as separate envelopes or separate PDF files which are sent via email. The financial proposal must be password protected; any financial proposal submitted without password protection will be automatically disqualified.

Note: WAC Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason.
