Terms of Reference (TOR) For Team Building Consultant
DanChurchAid (DCA) is a Danish development and humanitarian organisation. We work for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities and believe in life before death. Our everyday work with development and relief aid strives to help the oppressed, neglected, and marginalised groups in our focus countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa to strengthen their possibilities of a life in dignity. DCA is committed in promoting a rights-based approach, gender equity, and climate actions throughout our programme areas. DCA is implementing its five-year strategy (2022 to 2026), during which it expects to implement initiatives focusing on three thematic areas: (1) Fight Extreme Inequality; (2) Build Resilient Communities; and (3) Save Lives (Humanitarian Response and DRR). All our interventions in Nepal will be implemented under the umbrella of Climate Action, and Gender Equality will remain to be our cross-cutting commitments.

Team Building Consultant
DCA Nepal is a Danish humanitarian and development organization that has been working in the country since 2008. DCA works for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities, and strives to create a world without hunger, poverty, and oppression, in which popular and political powers constantly work strongly and actively for a just and sustainable distribution and use of the earth’s resources. In Nepal, DCA’s work focuses on three thematic areas: Build Resilient Communities, Fight Extreme Inequality and Save Lives. Across all the themes, DCA has integrated climate change and gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) as cross-cutting themes. Currently, DCA is moving towards rolling out its new strategy (2022-2026), with a key focus on climate actions. Climate actions are mainstreamed in all its programmes and projects to enhance programmatic objectives and improve the sustainability and scale of adaptation efforts.
The objective of this ToR is Building a strong team spirit, collaboration and engagement that boost morale & motivation among the team linking them with organization culture. It fosters communication, socialization and helps to build trust within organization. The retreat aims to celebrate our successes and rejuvenate us with new spirit of working.
