Child Profile Development for Rautmai RM of Udayapur

Jalpa Integrated Development Society (JIDS), Udayapur, is a non-profit, development- and advocacy-oriented social organization established in 1994 A.D. The organization is committed to supporting poor, marginalized, and vulnerable children, their families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. JIDS has been working in Udayapur District to improve the quality of life of children and their families, socially and economically marginalized communities, and persons with disabilities. JIDS is recognized as a leading humanitarian and social development organization in the district, advocating for positive change and transformative community development.

JIDS has extensive experience in implementing child protection campaigns in Udayapur District. The organization has played a leading advocacy role in the declaration of the first Child-Friendly Local Governance (CFLG) ward in Udayapur. Its experience includes working directly with child clubs in schools and communities, actively participating in the district-level child referral mechanism, and leading the “End Child Marriage” campaign in Udayapur District. These experiences and achievements are among JIDS's key strengths in promoting child rights, protection, and well-being.

JIDS is currently implementing an integrated project with the support of World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal) in Udayapur District. WVI Nepal's Country Strategy 2026–2030 aims to improve the well-being of one million vulnerable children across Nepal. The strategy aligns with Nepal's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and incorporates World Vision's core project models and approaches through the Integrated Program Framework (IPF). The framework guides implementation within WVI Nepal's Area Programs (APs), ensuring a focused response to key child well-being issues in each program area. Under this project, there is a need to develop comprehensive child profiles and child-focused investment plans for the targeted Rural Municipalities (RMs). The child profiles will help identify the demographic, educational, health, protection, psychosocial, and socioeconomic status of children, as well as their needs, vulnerabilities, strengths, and aspirations. The child-focused investment plan will support the identification and prioritization of key interventions and resources required to improve child well-being and strengthen local government planning and budgeting. The assignment will therefore support the collection, analysis, and documentation of relevant information on children and their needs and will contribute to evidence-based planning, resource allocation, and advocacy for child-friendly development within the targeted RMs.

Technical and Financial proposal should be separated and Financial proposal should be protected by the password, password may be asked later on.
