“Final Evaluation for PARIWARTAN Project”

DCA Nepal is a Danish humanitarian and development organization that has been working in the country since 2008.  DCA works for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities, and strives to create a world without hunger, poverty, and oppression, in which popular and political powers constantly work strongly and actively for a just and sustainable distribution and use of the earth’s resources. In Nepal, DCA’s work focuses on three thematic areas: Build Resilient Communities, Fight Extreme Inequality and Save Lives. Across all the themes, DCA has integrated climate change and gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) as cross-cutting themes. Currently, DCA is moving towards rolling out its new strategy (2022-2026), with a key focus on climate actions. Climate actions are mainstreamed in all its programmes and projects to enhance programmatic objectives and improve the sustainability and scale of adaptation efforts. 

The overall objective of the assignment is to undertake a project level evaluation in line with the project objective, outcome and expected results using the DAC evaluation criteria; The evaluation shall adapt the DAC 6 evaluation criteria a) efficiency b) effectiveness c) impact d) sustainability e) coherence and f) relevance. And it also evaluates the project progress against the log frame indicators with socio-economic background information. The selected consultant team will be responsible for undertaking the study by designing the study tools and methods along with the execution of the study by providing training to the enumerators, quality assurance plan, collecting data and information, undertaking data analysis and writing the report. This survey will collect data to update all the logframe indicators. The field survey will be undertaken in close coordination with DCA MEAL Manager and DCA implementing partners.
