Job Description

Position: Social Mobilizer (SM)

Job Location: Jeetpur, Simara

Reporting to: Project Coordinator

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

General:

• Be able to gain an understanding of the targeted community and its dynamics. 
• Understand and follow principles of community participation and mobilization using participatory tools and techniques
• Understand community conflicts, be able to analyse them, and take the facilitating role 
• Understand the process and methods to facilitate the smooth work of the organization plan.
• Skills of effective presentation and communication
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Specific tasks related to the project:

• Facilitate meetings with community members and local representatives.
• Collect the feedback from communities concerning the project´s activities and progress.
• Assist in weekly activities and prepare a weekly report of activities conducted in communities.
• Coordination with community people and stakeholders at the ward level.
