Senior Wordpress Developer

We are an internationally recognized educational institution seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites in the education sector, preferably in colleges or other educational institutes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other developers, designers, and project managers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites as per requirement

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites for educational institutes, including custom themes, plugins, and functionality.
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and project managers to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to WordPress development.
• Ensure the security and optimization of WordPress websites, including updates and backups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress websites.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development and suggest improvements to our development processes.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in WordPress development, with a focus on the education sector.
  
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and customization.
• Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with MySQL or other databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
• Experience with e-learning platforms such as Moodle
