Senior iOS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the iOS technical expert and lead iOS engineer.
• Develop and execute the technical strategy and roadmap, including success metrics, in close collaboration with other Engineering and Product Managers.
• Own the iOS application and be responsible for building and shipping production deployments.
• Participate in full agile SDLC, including development, estimation, planning, and design sessions.
• Work with Product and Design teams to drive various growth initiatives.
• Mentor team members at varying levels of experience, establishing best practices and clean code principles.

Qualifications

• BA, BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technology field.
• 5+ years experience building iOS mobile applications with at least 2 published apps.
• 3+ years of experience managing team with responsibility for mobile clients.
• Comfortable in both Objective-C and Swift.
• Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to debug complex problems across distributed systems.
• Experience with design patterns, MVC, frameworks, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with AWS and/or other cloud computing platforms.
