Vacancy Announcement
1st Date of Publication: 04 September 2025
Confederation of Bagmati Province Industries (CBPI), established in 2078 B.S. is dedicated to fostering the industrial development of the district. CBPI has signed the joint memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the SDC funded bilateral projects of the Government of Nepal (GoN) and the Government of Switzerland: Enhanced Skills for Sustainable and Rewarding Employment (ENSSURE)- II, Nepal Vocational Qualifications System Project-Phase II (NVQS P-II) and Quality TVET for Youth (QualiTY) Project.
ENSSURE aims is to support Nepalese youths, women, and men, gain social and economic benefits from a federalized TVET system. To the end, the Project has been helping three spheres of government to assume their constitutional responsibilities in delivering TVET functions. Likewise, the project has been working with industries and their associations to reduce the skill demand and supply gap and improve the employability of skilled human resources.
NVQS supports CTEVT, on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology (MoEST), to implement the approved National Vocational Qualifications Framework (NVQF) in Nepal. The NVQF serves as a pivotal component of the broader National Vocational Qualifications System (NVQS), a comprehensive national framework for certifying individuals' skills and competencies acquired through training or practical experiences. This system enables individuals to access higher-level skills in the institutions or participate in the national and international labour markets, thereby enhancing earning prospects.
QualiTY aims to ensure Nepalese youth—particularly those from disadvantaged groups—benefit from quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and improved employment opportunities. The project focuses on enhancing the quality of TVET schools by introducing quality standards, institutionalizing an accreditation system, and developing a training and licensing system for instructors including reformation of the curriculum through national curriculum frameworks. Furthermore, QualiTY strengthens linkages between TVET institutions and relevant businesses and industries (BIAs), recognizing their critical role in aligning training with labor market needs to enhance employment outcomes for youth.
In this context, CBPI is seeking applications from interested and qualified Nepali citizens and committed to delivering results for the following position.
