About the Role

Vertex Foods and Beverages Pvt. Ltd. develops nutritious, fortified food products for schools and communities across Nepal. We're looking for two energetic Sales Officers to grow our school meal program and build strong relationships with schools throughout Kathmandu Valley.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit schools regularly to promote Vertex products and meet principals, administrators and decision-makers.
• Identify leads, convert prospects into customers, and follow up on trials, samples and repeat orders.
• Conduct product presentations and tastings; prepare quotations and sales proposals.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets; maintain accurate visit, order and feedback records.
• Submit daily and weekly field/sales reports; coordinate with production and dispatch for timely delivery.
• Represent Vertex at promotional events and school exhibitions as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree (BBS/BBM or equivalent in business, sales, or marketing); fresh graduates welcome.
• 0–3 years in sales, marketing, or business development — FMCG, food, or institutional sales preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in Nepali and English.
• Confident, target-driven, and able to independently plan field visits.
• Basic MS Excel/email skills and good knowledge of Kathmandu Valley routes.

Mandatory Mobility Requirement

• Must own a motorcycle/scooter and hold a valid two-wheeler driving licence.
• Willing to travel daily across Kathmandu Valley for visits and follow-ups.
