Job Description

We are in need of an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to design and develop awesome world changing applications.

What You Will Be Doing

• As one of our Ruby on Rails developer you will have opportunities to create innovative solutions for web, mobile and social.
• Planning and estimating projects and tasks.
• Doing code-reviews and coordinating development efforts of other developers.
• Leading other developers to achieve the goals set.
• Communicating with the developers in the team about the work required.
• You analyze the specific task and care for an efficient and optimal implementation.
• Here you work closely with front-end development, management and the clients.
• Creation of technical concepts.
• Coordination of external service.
• Coordination of third party interfaces.
• Evaluation and implementation of new technologies in the field of software development.

Job Requirements

• A team player who does not hesitate even once to ask his colleagues for help and even happy to assist when available.
• Can learn quickly, understand existing applications, and architectures.
• Has experience building large, client heavy web applications.
• Is comfortable on an agile team in the early stages of the product lifestyle.
• Enjoy empirically improving the team's estimates and velocity.
• JavaScript (Coffeescript, Jquery, Backbone, Angular, Ember, Knockout, or Node).
• Strong Ruby on Rails development background.
• Full-stack development background with NoSQL experience, and Git.
• Extensive experience with SQL.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP) Understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Deep understanding of web technologies.
• Excellent command over written and spoken English.
• Accustomed in Linux.
• Bachelor in Computer Science or other related field (preferably an engineering background).
• A strong believer in Test-driven development.
