The Role
Response Management Lead – Flood Response sits in program team. The purpose of the position is to monitor and provide technical support to the partners for ensuring effective implementation of Flood Response interventions in timely manner and achieve the stipulated results following humanitarian standards and principles along with the sprite of localization. This position will be based at Resilience and Climate Justice theme.
What we are looking for
Response Management Lead – Flood Response are involved in managing the partners to ensure the effective implementation of Flood response. They are expected to to deliver high quality response intervention in timely manner. We are looking for someone who have the following experience, knowledge and competencies.
- Education – A relevant post-graduation degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 7-10 years in relief, recovery and /or development work with INGO / NGO/ or Government, and knowledge and experience on Cash Programming and WASH in a humanitarian context.
- Demonstrated experience working on Emergency Response, Cash Transfer Programming, WASH and emergency livelihoods issues in the humanitarian contexts.
- Familiar with the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS)
- Adequate experience in Partnership Management and localisation
- Adequate knowledge of protection and gender justice.
- Proven experience in effective budget monitoring
- Demonstrate very strong leadership and management skills and ability to work in the team.
