Organization Background:

Everest Club (EC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1993 AD and registered with the District Administration Office (DAO). EC is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC), Kathmandu, and is an active member of provincial and national development networks. With over 31 years of implementation experience. EC is actively implementing development and humanitarian programs in Dailekh and Kalikot districts of Karnali Province. The organization adopts an integrated, community-led approach across Health and Nutrition (including MNCH), WASH and Sanitation, Education, Child Rights and Governance, Food Security and Livelihoods, Youth and Women’s Empowerment, Social Protection, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Resilience, Climate Change, and environmental sustainability. EC works in close partnership with local governments and international and national partners, to reach marginalized and hard-to-reach communities.

Everest Club (EC), Dailekh, in partnership with CARE Nepal and iDE Nepal, is implementing the Nurture Every Future: POSHAN Nepal Project in Dailekh District. The project is being implemented in Bhagwatimai, Dungeshwor, Gurans, and Thatikandh Rural Municipalities, and Aathbish Municipality. It leverages expertise in Health and Nutrition, food and Agriculture, Water, Sanitation and hygiene (WASH), market systems development, gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), and local governance to improve the nutritional well-being of women, children, and vulnerable communities.

Required Qualification and Experience

Project Coordinator

[1 Position]

  • A Master's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Others or a related field from a recognized institution  and  three years of working experience in Health, Nutrition, MSNP, NFLG and Multisector Social sector and social sector
  • Have practical experience on collaboration and coordination with government and non-government organizations leverage resource and technical expertise. 
  • Have skill, knowledge, and experience in designing program strategy, team building, and a good understanding of government policies, programs, SDG, and Climate change. 
  • Excellent command on writing and speaking in both English and Nepali language along with computer skills on office package and internet. 
  • Ability to work effectively with government representatives across different sectoral units, private sector entities, local community organizations, donors, and other stakeholders, particularly at the province and local level.
  • Excellent understanding of civil society dynamics, human rights, democracy, and social development.
  • Strong staff management, budget, and M&E skills.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills. 

Preferred Requirements: Candidates with prior experience in nutrition, maternal and child health, and community-based health interventions

Clinical Support Officer

[1 Position]

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing with 1-year relevant experience, or bachelor's degree with staff nurse/health assistant background and 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in government clinical settings at local HF level with advanced clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Training in IMAM, CB-IMNCI, SBA/SHP, MNH coaching, and CNSI coaching are highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of GESI, safeguarding, accountability, and health information systems.

Preferred Requirement: Candidate have, prior to previous experience working with IMAM, CBIMNCI, MNH, CNSI training and on-site coaching/ mentoring.

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in nutrition-sensitive agriculture, livelihoods, and multisectoral coordination.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, reporting, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of GESI, safeguarding, accountability, and MEAL systems.

Preferred Requirement: Candidate have, previous experience working with Agriculture program implementation and training.

[3 Position]

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, Nutrition, Agriculture, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nutrition, public health, livelihoods, or local governance.
  • Proven experience in multisectoral coordination and working with local governments.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, reporting, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of MSNP, NFLG, GESI, safeguarding, and MEAL systems.

Preferred Requirement: Candidate have, prior to previous experience working with MSNP and NFLG.

  • Health Assistant (HA)/Staff Nurse degree with at least 1 year experience, or ANM/CMA with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiar with government health and nutrition system and approach and basic knowledge of health, nutrition and WASH practices.
  • Aware on health mother group/FCHVs approaches, HFOMC, Nutrition Friendly Health Facility process.
  • Good facilitation, communication, and social mobilization skills.

Preferred Requirement: Candidate have, previous experience working with health, nutrition WASH program implementation and training.

Agricultural Marketing Facilitator

[1 Position]

  • Intermediate (or equivalent) in Agriculture.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in agriculture and livelihood programs.
  • Experience with community engagement and local government coordination.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of GESI, safeguarding, and MEAL systems.

Preferred Requirement: Candidate have, previous experience working with Agriculture/marketing/ program implementation, and training.
