Peace Nepal is a non-profit non-governmental organization established in 1998 and registered with the District Administration Office (DAO), Kapilvastu and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC). 

The organization has been working to improve socio- economic status of the underprivileged and marginalized community people. The organization has focused on improving health, WASH, child rights, quality education, livelihood and women empowerment, climate change adaptation and environmental conservation. Peace Nepal is currently implementing the SANKALP – Together for Children's Rights project in Lumbini Province. The project aims to strengthen civil society organizations and networks to promote and protect children's rights by influencing the development and effective implementation of child-responsive policies, laws, budgets, systems, and institutional structures. To achieve these objectives, Peace Nepal works in close collaboration with the Provincial Government of Lumbini, civil society organizations and networks, the Provincial Child Club Network, and other key stakeholders.

To support the successful implementation of this initiative, Peace Nepal invites applications from qualified, committed, and dynamic Nepali citizens for the following full-time position:

1. Position: Program Manager- 1 Position 

Report to: Executive Director

Overview of Positions

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Program Manager is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of the 3 years SANKALP – Together for Children's Rights project implemented by Peace Nepal from January 15, 2026. The Program Manager will lead the implementation of project activities aimed at strengthening civil society organizations and networks to promote and protect children's rights through evidence-based advocacy, policy engagement, and institutional capacity strengthening.

The position is responsible for ensuring effective coordination and collaboration with provincial and local governments, civil society organizations and networks, the Provincial Child Club Network, development partners, and other key stakeholders to promote child rights governance, accountability, and policy influence across Lumbini Province.

The Program Manager is required to undertake frequent travel to project districts within Lumbini Province to provide technical guidance, mentoring, and programmatic support to civil society organizations, child-led networks, and other stakeholders, ensuring the timely, high-quality, and effective implementation of project activities.

In addition, the Program Manager will provide leadership and supervision to project staff, ensuring effective team management, performance monitoring, capacity development, and coordination to achieve project objectives and organizational standards.
