External Audit Services

ChildFund Japan is a child focused international development organization committed to promote the rights of children through international development cooperation in the spirit of harmonious coexistence. The organization has been operating in Nepal since 2006 to help deprived, excluded, and vulnerable children, families, and communities through meaningful, sustainable solutions with the support of various donors, sponsors, and grant funds.

ChildFund Japan Nepal Office (CFJNO) invites sealed quotations/proposals from eligible, experienced, and ICAN-registered Chartered Accounting firms for the provision of External Audit Services for CFJNO and its partner NGOs, as detailed in the approved Terms of Reference (TOR).

The audit assignment includes, but is not limited to:

• Statutory audit of CFJ Nepal Office and partner NGOs
• Head Office required audit and donor funded project audits
• Compliance with Nepal Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (NAS for NPO) and/or IFRS
• Issuance of audit opinions, management letters, and related audit reports as specified in the TOR

Eligible Audit Firms with proven experience in auditing NGOs/INGOs and donor funded projects are requested to submit separate technical and financial proposals, including:

• Firm profile and relevant experience
• Copy of firm registration with ICAN (with renewal)
• PAN/VAT registration certificate
• Latest tax clearance certificate
• CVs of key audit personnel
• Technical proposal outlining audit methodology and quality assurance mechanism
• Financial proposal with a clear cost breakdown

Proposals must clearly mention the firm’s name, address, contact number, and email address.

The complete proposal should be submitted in a sealed envelope or via email to ChildFund Japan Nepal Office no later than 27 January 2026, 13:00. The subject line/envelope should be clearly marked as “External Audit Service”.

ChildFund Japan Nepal Office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason whatsoever.
