Inline Chlorination and UV-based (Institutional Level) Water Purification Unit

1. Introduction

The purpose of this RFQ is to invite qualified suppliers to provide quotations for the supply, installation and commissioning of chlorination dosing systems in selected schools and health facilities to ensure safe drinking water.

Geruwa Rural Awareness Association invite sealed quotations from eligible suppliers/distributors for the supply and delivery of Inline Chlorination (Institutional Level) Water Purification Units for use in different institutions (Schools and Health Care Facility) in Bardiya District, Nepal.

2. Scope of Supply

• Supply of chlorination and UV based Water purification units:
  • Option 1. Chlorine Cartridge/Tablets system for water purification unit (Automatic, suitable for institutional scale) in different capacities.
  • Option 2. Chlorine dosing system for water purification unit (Automatic, suitable for institutional scale) in different capacities.
  • Option 3. UV based drinking water treatment unit (Automatic, suitable for institutional scale) in different capacities.
• Installation and commissioning at the initial eight designated sites in Bardiya District. Subject to satisfactory performance, quality, and effectiveness, the intervention may be expanded to additional sites.
• Training of institutional staff in operation and maintenance
• Warranty and after-sales service support (minimum 1 year).
• Certification: WHO evaluation compliance, ISO standards
• Technical Specification: 
  • Capacity: Approximately suitable for 1,000-2500 liters/day, Adjustable flow with dosing, Corrosion resistant material

Vendor Qualifications:

• Proven experience in supplying water treatment systems.
• Authorized distributor or manufacturer certification.
• Capacity to provide local after sales service and spare parts.
• References from similar institutional projects.
• Valid company registration, VAT/PAN and tax clearance certificate.

3. Quotation Requirements

Suppliers are requested to provide:

• Detailed description of the option/s offered above( 1-3) .
• Itemized costs covering product/equipment, installation, training and O &M support. Suppliers may quote all three options (Chlorine cartridge/tablets, Chlorine liquid dosing, UV based unit) or only for the option/s they are able to supply.
• Itemized financial quotation for all 3 options or only that supplier can supply (product/equipment, installation, training, O & M support)
• Delivery and installation timeline
• Warranty terms and details.
• Company profile and relevant certifications.
• Validity period of quotation (minimum 60 Days)
• Payment terms and conditions

4. Submission Instructions

• Quotations must be submitted in sealed envelopes or via official email (Password Protected PDF Format) with subject line “RFQ- Inline Chlorination (Institutional Level) Water Purification Unit”
