LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local initiatives for sustainable management of renewable natural resources and improving the livelihoods of rural people in Nepal.

For Hiring Consultant for Mapping Native Nutrient Rich Edible Plants (Wild and Non- Cultivated Plants) of Gangajamuna, Khaniyabas and Ruby Valley Rural Municipalities of Dhading District

Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) is implementing “Advocacy and Strengthening Resilience through Linkage between Agriculture, Natural Resource Management towards Nutrition Security (LANN+)” project in six rural municipalities of Dhading and Salyan district with financial support from BMZ/German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and Welthungerhilfe (WHH). The multi-sectorial LANN+ approach is centered around family nutrition and has an explicit focus on integrating nutrition sensitive sectorial elements, that address underlying and basic causes of malnutrition in order to achieve nutrition security. The use of wild and non-cultivated plants from nature is a strong connector between the nutrition and natural resource management.

LI-BIRD invites all the eligible consultant/firms to submit the proposal for the following task:

  • Mapping Native Nutrients Rich Edible Plants (Wild and Non-Cultivated Plants) of Gangajamuna, Khaniyabas and Ruby Valley Rural Municipalities of Dhading District.

Proposal must be written in English language. Proposal received after the deadline will not be entertained and considered for evaluation process.

Proposal that does not meet the requirements will be rejected. Proposal that meets the requirements and offer the best value for money will be selected for further evaluation process. LI-BIRD reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason whatsoever.
