WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. WaterAid Nepal has been in operation since 1987. We are part of the global WaterAid family, which works in 37 countries and has a vision to reach everyone everywhere with safe water, sanitation and good hygiene by 2030. WaterAid Nepal’s goal for the next five years is to ensure that marginalized groups and individuals, and people living in vulnerable situations in Nepal has access to safe water and improved sanitation facilities and are able to practice good hygiene behavior. This is where our work can have the most impact, and it is the next crucial step towards achieving our overall vision.

WAN intends to engage an audit firm to undertake an external audit for 3 Fiscal Year starting from 2020/21 Therefore, WAN invites submission of proposals from eligible audit firms, who have experience in external auditing of international organizations working in development sector with several partners. Other features related to the proposal are:

1. The audit firm should be registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal under “Chartered Accountants” category.
2. The audit firm should have at least five years’ experience of carrying out external audit. 
3. The interested audit firm should submit combined technical and financial proposals along with their Company documents i.e Company registration, VAT/PAN Certificate and latest year tax clearance certificate.

Proposal Submission Method:

Interested and Qualified Audit Company are requested to submit an electronic scanned copy of proposal through email in nepal-procurement@wateraid.org  in a PDF file not later than  24th November 2020.
