Request For Proposal-Internet Based VCC App Development

Terms of Reference (TOR) of Internet based VCC app development

Heifer Overview:  

Heifer Project International Nepal (HPIN) is a non-profit and humanitarian organization dedicated to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth. 

Responsibilities:

• Development of internet based VCC mobile apps with incorporating all required information provided by HPIN
• Develop Internet based VCC app (Producer-Cooperative-Trader interface) for collective marketing of goats
• Link the developed VCC app with the internet goat trading platform like Samuhik Bazar. 
• Develop and provide User's manual with simple trouble shootings
• Train Heifer Staff for Server Management for the VCC app
• Pilot testing of the internet based VCC app in selected 5 cooperatives
• Involve in training of user's at cooperative level
• Technical backstopping for the period of 1 year from the final version development
• After one year, make contract for technical support with mutually agreeable cost

Deliverables

As part of the Services and/or Goods, Contractor shall present:

• Ready to test version of Internet Based Virtual Collection Centre (VCC) Mobile App
• User's Manual
• Final Version of Internet based VCC app after field testing 

Timeframe

Requirements

• 2 years of Experience on the relevant field 
• Other job-related education and /or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements.
