Welfare Association for Children Tikapur (WACT) in partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal) is implementing the Protection & Community Engagement and Sponsorship Plan (PCESP) project from 2021 to contribute to the well-being of the most vulnerable children, families and communities in Nepal. The Key objective of this assignment is to prepare a success story video capturing major changes in the lives of the adolescent after participating in the life and protective skill sessions in 6-month period and other interventions in different municipalities of Kailali District

Rationale and Purpose of the Video Documentary:

The Key objective of this assignment is to prepare a success story video capturing major changes in the life’s of the adolescent after participating in the life and protective skill sessions in 6-month period and other interventions in different municipalities of Kailali District.  Since the life and protective skill session deliver the specific knowledge and skill on the mentioned area below so the video must cover progress or change on the same. Major topics delivered are as follows

The major scopes of the work are:      

• The video will be of documentary type,
• The video's length will be 5-8 minutes (approximately), 
• The number of video will be Two (2)
• The video will incorporate key information about WACT & World Vision’oaches, Strengthening Child Protection system in local level Key achievements and highlights of programme.  
• The video will cover stories of at least 1 adolescent participating life and protective skill sessions. 
• The video will feature key interviews: WVI Nepal’s Department Head Child Protection, Programme Lead of WFO, a staff of partner NGO (from Kailali), a local government (from Kailali ) and a field staff (from Kailali). Samples were selected to capture most impact of the project and to ensure fair coverage of all groups.  
• The video will be cover progress of the adolescent and function of CRC or case management process
• The video should have in nepali language in background narration with English subtitles.

Approach and methodologies:

• Preliminary Meeting with the selected consultancy firm/team of individual to clarify the understanding the task and deliverables 
• Coordination with the Field Protection Lead and Partner Organization to set the schedule
• Sharing of key requirement to select most potential candidates for the video story and screening. 
• Finalize 2 Concepts for video documentary at least 2 alternatives 
• Follow up with the adolescent and video capturing 
• KII with the mentioned informant. 
• Submission of final video story

Deliverables:

• Final delivery of completion of the assignment along with below 
• 2 success story video in Nepali with English subtitles

Report to:

NGO Program Manager

Consultancy Budgeting and Remuneration:

The budget will be charge from PCESP project and the remuneration for the consultancy/facilitation is as per agreement. Tax will be deducted as per government policy.

Qualifications/requirements of consultant:

1. The organization/individual consultant should have previous experience of developing video documentary. (Please provide references of your previous works).
2. Work experience in Child Protection sector at grassroots level is advantageous. 
3. Language skills: Proven proficiency in Nepali and local

Application Process:

Interested applicants who meet the required conditions are invited to submit Hard copy of expression of interest including financial and technical proposal outlining methodology, content and work plan. In the Quotation form, the consultancy firms are expected to include consultancy service fee inclusive of any other cost. CVs of Consultant should be submitted along with the proposal no later than 7 June 2023.

Note: WACT Tikapur May Conduct Long Term Agreement with the awarded Consultancy firm/Individuals based on future requiremnt
