Going Global Partnerships programme TVET (GGP TVET) was launched to support TVET partnerships that support quality improvement and internationalization of TVET. GGP TVET has been contributing to the outcome of “Improved quality and efficiency of TVET systems and institutions, aligned to labour market needs” working with TVET stakeholders in various countries including government and the private sector.
As part of the GGP programme, we are looking to conduct a green and digital skills assessment that will serve as a scoping exercise to explore the current policies, development plans, different programmes in TVET green skills and digital sector in Nepal. This scoping exercise is expected to support in the identification of emerging demands in green and digital skills economy in Nepal. For more details, please refer to the TOR.
Terms of Reference_ Green and Digital Skills_ TVET Nepal
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree or higher in education, TVET, environmental sciences, digital skills development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in conducting assessments or research studies related to TVET, green skills, or digital skills
- Proven ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured reports for policy influence.
- Previous experience working with TVET institutions, government agencies, and private sector stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Nepal’s TVET landscape, policies, and key actors.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in green skills and/or digital skills development initiatives
- Understanding of sustainability practices, climate change education, and emerging green job markets.
- Experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders such as CTEVT, MoEST, MoLESS, MoIC and Private sectors representatives.
- Established networks with TVET institutions, private sector, and development partners.
